  喜欢 is everyday 'like' — food, hobbies, a crush. 爱 is deeper: 我爱你 is a serious statement.

• 爱好 ài hào hobby; to be fond of

  A noun 'hobby' or formal 'be fond of' — 他的爱好是画画 'his hobby is painting'. Not used as 'I like you'.
