再 in a sentence

• 请qǐng再zài说shuō一yī次cì。

  Please say it once more.

• 明míng天tiān再zài来lái。

  Come again tomorrow.

• 我wǒ们men明míng年nián再zài见jiàn。

再 vs 在 vs 又 vs 还

Similar and easily confused words, and how they differ.

• 在 zài at; in; to be at

  Same sound, different job: 在 marks location or ongoing action (我在家); 再 means 'again' (再来一次). Writing 在见 for 再见 is a classic typo.

• 又 yòu again (already happened)

  又 repeats something that already occurred — 他又来了 'he came again'. 再 is for future or intended repetition — 明天再来 'come again tomorrow'.

• 还 hái still; also

  还 = continuation ('still raining' 还在下) or 'in addition' (还要一个); 再 = 'one more time'.
